I had my first taste of DJ ing in Ibiza's west end in 1988, Yes the summer of love, the year Oakenfold,Rampling & Holloway brought back the balearic sound to our shores. I was instantly Hooked, but it was 4 years before I got my hands on my first 1210's in 1992. Heavily influenced by local rave nights(If were still allowed to call them that) I started buying 12" tunes from Groover, Eastern Bloc and Hott Waxx like they were going out of fashion. It was 3 years of mix tapes for my mates before I got my first big break. I had played at a few local nights up till Feb 1995 when I won Muzik Magazines Bedroom bedlam mix tape of the month. The rest is (As they say) history, I went on to play Gatecrasher, Progress, The Ministry of sound, Steem, Kool Waters, Karanga, Sundissential, Eden to name just a few. Then in 1997 I was awarded "Bedroom bedlam DJ of the year" live on radio 1 by Judge Jules, I was signed up by 2 DJ Agencies and started playing all over europe as well as more high profile UK Gigs. The good times continued to the highlights of my career in 2000 playing at Privelage in Ibiza (The biggest club in the world) and the Exit festival in Serbia 2002 playing to thousands in an open air arena. Things started to change rapidly with bars opening club hours, the CJB getting heavy so the gigs thinned out a bit. Among all the mayhem I also ran my own night called Ootchy Kootchy for 6 months, which was an experience.
